I don't know, the impression I got was that Karen Gillan was specifically mocking Katy Perry, calling her out on doing the song for attention. It didn't strike me as an attack on femme lesbians and bi girls, it struck me as an attack on the singer and the song, and that was it. Karen wasn't acting as a representative of all queer girls, she was acting as Katy Perry, Desperate Attention Seeker.

I'm a queer woman, if it's necessary to say so.

I know that's what she was trying to do, but she should have considered that the person-specific mockery would easily go over the heads of a majority of her audience and be heard as "Katy Perry is the perfect example of this 'faking' thing that all these 'bi' girls do." It's an easy mistake to overlook if you're not queer yourself. Which is exactly why she shouldn't have done the video at all.
