Luke Skywalker. Yeah, I mostly ask myself why, *except* for a few moments in ANH when he's on Tatooine and gazing at the suns. And he did have some guns in ESB, but that didn't really help the fact that he was still Luke Fucking Skywalker.

Sesshomaru from Inuyasha. I look back on those days and cringe.

I think it was the fact I got into it around my obsessive tween age (and the size of the fandom/OC shipper prevalence/etc) because I have no problem owning up to my earlier crushes such as Aladdin's dad or Tuxedo Mask.

Mufasa and Simba. With Simba, it was the mane which reminded me of gorgeous hair. With Mufasa, of course, it was the voice. I don't even know. It still embarrasses me thinking back on it.

I was really into Trunks from DBZ and Tai from Digimon. I wrote Mary Sue fanfics with them. It is tragic to think back on.

Name any Nicktoon from the 90's and I bet I could name at least one character from it that I had a crush on (except Rugrats, thank God for that at least).

I have to admit...I'm asking "why" about my current fictional crush. I mean, he's good-looking, and noble, and badass, and witty, and kind of tragic, but not in an over-the-top way...what was I saying again? [dreamy smile]

Vegeta's already been said(but I'll say him again, ha). But my six year old self was in love with Darth Vader ~~I blame the voice, I crushed on voices even at that age dear god~~.

Yes, because I have a fictional character personality type that I crush on. (The weaselly, jerk-type but who is also not completely horrible. See: Quark from DS9, Morgan from Earth 2, Thomas from Downton Abbey.)

So many. For years my fictional type was pretty much mundane, average japanese dudes... so, basically every shounen anime protagonist I came across qualified at some point.

Less embarrassing, Dark Heart from the care bears movie. Although I can totally see part of what my 3-4yo self saw in him.

My very first crush ever was Chachi from Happy Days. Not Scott Baio, but Chachi...and yes I do ask why.

Eh, I've had a few who make me cringe a bit in retrospect, but I can pretty much explain all of them.

Knuckles the Echidna, especially from the Archie Sonic Comics. And no, I'm not even remotely a furry.

This was back when Knuckles was more of an angry bad-boy rival to Sonic and apparently I loved that shit as a kid. And honestly I really do miss that rivalry sometimes, because Shadow really fails to fit into that dynamic.
