Luke Skywalker. Yeah, I mostly ask myself why, *except* for a few moments in ANH when he's on Tatooine and gazing at the suns. And he did have some guns in ESB, but that didn't really help the fact that he was still Luke Fucking Skywalker.

I didn't see Star Wars until I was around 19, and I remember thinking if I had seen it when I was 12 or 13, I would have totally had a crush on him. :) I can't imagine that this is an unusual one at all.

Aww, that scene always made him really easy to connect to for me. Maybe it was because I spent a lot of my childhood wandering around the yard in the evenings while staring at the sky and wishing I could explore the galaxy and stuff.

I think maybe I wasn't clear. Those moments ARE the ones where I can understand 12-year-old me's crush. It's all the other time's that I'm WTFing it.

No, it was clear! ...Maybe my comment wasn't, though. :P
