TOS episode 'The Enemy within' Kirk get's split into two versions of himself, the good side who is a bit of a wuss, and doesn't have the guts to command, and the evil side which rapes a crewman (Tries to rape? I can't quite remember) anyway, at the end, they get put back together, because kirk needs to be a wuss AND a rapist to be a goo captain.

No, that Evil Kirk was evil wasn't the problem. Spock's creeper line at the end, that was one part enraging, and one part bizzare. And rather not in character, for that matter.

I think this is a better example of non-evil kirks thoughts on things.

If you take only the "evil" side of any person they'd probably be willing to do worse than rape, so... I dunno why this is so shocking or horrible to you. Studies show that the vast majority of people are willing to commit torture in certain circumstances. If you were to split into good and evil halves, the evil half would probably be willing to torture, murder, and rape. That doesn't say much about any given person.
