Well, that depends for what. I'd shag Kirk, but I'd prefer Picard as a Captain.

Kirk because Shatner's overacting is incredibly entertaining to watch.

Picard, because I can't separate the two from their actors and Sir Patrick Stewart is one of the classiest mofos currently walking this earth.

Kirk all the way. Picard was more of a diplomat or a bureaucrat than a captain of a starship. But I didn't like TNG all that much in general, so that may color my opinion.

Picard. He actually knew what he was doing, knew how to maintain discipline aboard a military vessel, and didn't roll around pointlessly during fights.

But really Janeway.

Picard. Kirk was always getting into brawls and chatting up random ladies, while Picard delegated more (and flirted less), the way a captain ought to. He wasn't such an 'action hero', but he came off as classy and mature to me, and I'd feel safer on a starship he was in charge of.

Kirk.

Because I take joy in the burning hatred my roommate has for him.

Nooo don't make me chose! I love Kirk and Picard.

So I go with what other people have said before me and pick Janeway :D

Janeway or Sisco.

As for Kirk and Picard, I like them both equally.

Definitely Kirk. Picard is way too middle management. I say this as an avid Trekkie that could tell which TNG episode it was, just from the teaser alone.

Picard. The ladies COULD fuck Kirk.

But they all WANTED to fuck Picard. Riker wasn't a bad consolation prize, but that's what he was.

Picard was only being so swag by accident. He was too busy EXPLORING to get busy.

Picard, because I grew up with him and I always thought he was wonderfully competent, plus I really enjoyed the ensemble cast too.

(But really I'll just be over here waving my 'Team Archer' flag in the corner)

I dunno. I find Picard too stern and kind of boring.

Partly because I mostly grew up on TNG, but he also struck me more as a proper captain, and I enjoyed the fact that he really did seem more like a diplomatic explorer of an "enlightened" humanity.

Plus, I mean, Patrick Stewart. He's just such a classy actor and he pulls off being a Captain, a friend, and an individual and the shifts between those roles all very naturally. Kirk struck me far too much as the usual Leading Man type, and it was often a turn off.

Benjamin Sisko is the one who really has my heart tho.

Picard. To be completely honest, because I've seen a lot of TNG but none of TOS...but it would take a heck of a lot to make me switch.

Picard. The man just had so much dignity and presence and class. And Shakespeare. And he don't need no steenking toupée!
