Ah yes. The ravers. My ancestors were ravers. Once a year we go into a barn and reenact many of their dances with glow sticks and flashing lights.

I hate that they are appropriating rave culture. Other artists do it too, but their appropriation offends me most because they don't even try to get it.

Someone once tried to illustrate the wrongs of cultural appropriation through the example of band fans getting butthurt over a non-fan buying a band t-shirt because they just happened to think it was cute. There is no possible way to make the word "appropriation" look more whiny and immature and entitled. And you just demonstrated this all over again.
