Ahhhh fuck I'm not going to unsee Buck Angel now.

Not quite related, but I kind of wish more people who bring up confusion or problems about the possibility of transgender characters in the show would remember that drag culture is an actual thing.

What show is this from anyway?

A dumb fun cartoon called SheZow. A kid called Guy puts on his dead aunt's power ring as a joke, and now he's accidentally taken on a superhero mantle for life, costume included. Puns everywhere.

OH GOD THE PUNS MAKE IT STOP.

BTW, this show was partially produced by an Australian company, and the supercomputer's name is Sheila... which is Australian slang for "woman". (-:

Oh wow, and I thought they only named the computer Sheila just because it starts with "She". The puns are more deep rooted than I realised ♥

I don't even quite get why people other than Guy's circle would use terms like Shelebrities to refer to celebrities, does their whole world worship high fem presentation? It doesn't seem to be that way since there's still some casual misogny in there (nothing too bad).

Ah well it's a fun show but the puns get tiring.

SheZow, a show about a boy who becomes a superhero; the previous versions where all women, and they wore pink outfits which included dresses--and so does he. Yeah, he's a 12-year-old who saves the world (or at least his city) in a pink dress, heels, and makeup.

Non-queer folk tend to mix up drag and transsexuality all the time, it tends to go both ways on that score look at the King of the Hill episode with the "Drag Queen," and how much transsexual tropes are used especially when they talk with their mother. Of course Trans Women used to be found mostly in the Drag community before HRT became more commonly available.

But I totally get what you're saying.
