Wow, someone's feeling pretty high and mighty just because they played one of the older games. I have been playing the games since red and blue came out, and honestly? Every game has it's unique ups and downs, and while playing all of them has given me a better insight on the games as a whole, it doesn't give me the right to judge anyone else's opinion as invalid.

I'm not going to lie, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald fell a little flat for me plot-wise, but then again, most of the Pokemon games leave a lot to be desired as far as plots go. B/W just made gym leaders and side characters more involved, which was something pretty new. It's a step in the right direction, but IMO the core part of what makes the game fun is the team building and coming up with strategies.
