I find this kink really cute, though strangely enough I hate it when the *guy* is older than the girl(in het fic at least).

Even though it's not my thing (because I like older men) I've played with the idea of an older woman/younger man relationship because it's not done as often as the reverse. It seems interesting

The guy is almost always older for me (yes, in pairings and in life). One relationship I like the opposite way is Joan/Auggie on Covert Affairs; I love their dynamic, and it could very easily carry over to a romance. (Fandom size, of course, means there isn't much for them out there.)
