...Black and White isn't a hipster thing. The typical hipster only likes the first generation (MAYBE the second) and hates all the new Pokémon.

And as someone who's been into Pokémon since the beginning, I think RSE had the lamest plot. Black and White wasn't exactly complex as far as video game plotlines go, but it was at least easier to buy than "random guys trying to expand/shrink the ocean to give fish/people more room to live." You are free to like it more for whatever reason, but... don't act like anyone who likes BW better only thinks so because they're not familiar with the rest of the series.
