As a lesbian, I agree with you, but I also agree with him. To me sexuality is fluid and I don't think anyone is 100% anything. I wasn't offended for the reasons many were, I understand the criticism but can't I just agree that is problematic/potentially problematic and still enjoy it? I just loved the exchange between her and Watson ("I'm not gay"/"well I am"). I know she said she was gay but I identify as gay but am reluctant to use that label because I find a lot of male celebrities attractive *shrugs* so I found her frank confession refreshing.

I get that as a woman and a lesbian I am supposed to be offended by this episode/treatment of her character but I can't help agreeing with pretty much everything in the comment you replied to. I loved her.
