You are an idiot
I rather imagine that between their horrible existential crisis of discovering they weren't real up till now, and the real crisis that everybody they knew and cared about was effectively dead (I imagine the first thing most of them would do is demand the others were brought forth as well), they'd be little interested in anything else.
And even when they moved on? You are some vouyer/stalker they'd be disgusted by. observing them for so long "knowing" them so well? Get away you sick freak. That's their reaction.
Assuming they are even sane.
Honestly if such a machine ever exists, I hope it's destroyed before knowledge of it's creation (and as importantly the method to create it) can be propagated.

I get the "really like, really enjoy reading/seeing this character, I identify with this character, this character has traits I would like to see in prospective partner, etc" but the comment above and your response defines what seems to be not quite right about this "I love fictional characters more than real people" because a fictional character is treated as an object upon which fantasies are cast.
