The 'war' did get ridiculous. Some fans will argue who started it, but it doesn't really matter.

I don't think the fans are bad, though. They're like any group of fans - sometimes fans overreact, but Elementary fandom seems like a friendly place, from the outside, looking in. I don't see the assholes you see at all. There's some hyperbole but that's just tumblr in general: everything is the BEST THING EVER OMFG.

If you've been spoiled, I feel for you. This is why I hate being on tumblr, and rarely end up watching shows I gain a decent knowledge of through just other people's incessant reblogs.
