You could always find a new group and take your original character to them (with DM approval of course).
Personally I'd be inclined to go in with a new character and be obnoxiously obvious about why you're changing it, to the point of discomfort, and lots of pointed "maybe THIS time my concept won't be stolen" type of hints. But then I'm very passive aggressive like that, lol.
Good luck whichever way you go, anon!
Re: OP
There was a guy my friend was dating who was kind of a creep. When we started playing White Wolf games, I made a nice, pleasant, charismatic-but-annoying Trickster, and decided that his character would be my "special friend." Think of that in terms of Animaniacs--what the Warners would do to their friend of the week. It drove him up the wall, sitting behind his character on the bus and playing the ukulele, using my charisma stats to get his character to buy coffee for me, and just generally being cheerful and aggravating...but it was all totally in character.
Just saying. That's a nice, cathartic way to deal with rude people.

(Anonymous) 2013-07-04 12:17 am (UTC)(link)In game his character wasn't any worse than the rest of ours. The guy was just a jerk.
(The coffee scene was epic--I had all these diplomacy and persuasion stats, but he had all these antisocial and stubbornness-type traits, and we just kept building and building, and it all ended up in this epic dice role until his character literally *had* to buy mine coffee. It served no story purpose whatsoever, but it was far too much fun.)
