(Anonymous) 2013-07-03 02:58 am (UTC)(link)Agreed. And for all OP's character knows, the mimic character could also be some kind of spy PRC (don't know what edition OP is playing) who is plotting to sell them out to their infernal master and take their place.
They could be a lawful evil person on a mission.
OP could consider it a challenge to make a new PC who is the opposite of the current one, with (assuming they're a higher level than their current PC was on creation) more starting GP to engineer a solid build.
And I am side-eying that DM SO HARD for not doing their gorram job and balancing the fun of every player at the table.
