He looks really familiar but I can't remember where I've seen him.

He was (still is?) on Sons of Anarchy. And he's a character actor who's in a ton of stuff, so you've probably seen him more than once.

For example, he was in the first Silent Hill movie, and was in CSI: Miami for a while. (Sorry - meant to be replying to anon, but thought I'd just chuck this in here. :) )

Randomly, Kim Coates in Sons of Anarchy looks exactly like my dad (to the point where once I pointed it out, my mom started watching it even though she's not a big fan of violence and ... well, any of the themes in SoA), and I love him extra much because he hails from my home province! And when my province tried very hard to get rid of their film industry (they've succeeded, more or less), he ran a big motorcycle run from the two major cities in protest!
