I'm not saying this opinion is troll-worthy. It's a perfectly okay opinion. But this secret is pretty clearly wank-bait.

How do you submit a secret with a typo? It's not like you just type then hit 'Enter' and it's published. You have to create it, save it, upload it to a photo hosting site, then submit it. I know that typos still get left in, but it really baffles me that people go through the whole process without noticing an error.

It's a pretty common thing, that's why written works have editors and betas. Because the creator's mind is putting the missing letters in/skimming over because they know what they want it to say - so the brain ignores the minor errors.

You really only look at the secret when it's been made, after that it's all just the uploading/linking you mentioned where you don't need to re-read the secret over and over - and for such a quick thing as making and uploading a secret? Yeah I can see OP not noticing. Not a big prob either

Yes, it's sad for us that we're not all perfect secret makers who never get distracted or see what we *meant* to say instead of what we actually said before flattening and saving and don't give enough of a shit to redo. Tell us how you do it, Kemosabe.

Also, that wasn't intended to be an attack or anything, just a genuine question. I just wondered, because so many secrets seem to have a lot of time/effort put into them, why people wouldn't correct an error if they noticed it (By the way, what is flattening? Is that a photoshop thing?). Personally, I get really upset when I see that I've made an error, and will almost always try to go back and fix it if possible, and I just can't imagine not noticing a typo in something that I'd spent any real amount of time working on. I know that everyone is not me, however, nor would I expect them to be, haha.

Mostly I was kind of....talking out loud? Just voicing an idle curiosity. Sorry if I came across as rude or offensive. :(

Yeah, flattening is another term in photoshop for merging all the layers so you can't just edit one anymore.

I get that, but this is something that happens all the time. Haven't you ever seen a book, newspaper article or magazine with a typo? And all of those things have a much longer editing/vetting process where more than one person (who is paid to do these things) spellchecks AND proof-reads it.

So a typo slipping into a secret isn't that much of a credibility stretch.
