34. Jing is hot. I love this series to death, it's a shame the actual story doesn't really go anywhere.

Disgaea 3, actually. They're two of the main characters, Mao and Almaz.

...A lot of my icons are actually from Disgaea 3. Can you tell I'm a little bit excited for it?

Would that every Nippon Ichi release was as enjoyable as the Disgaea series.

Honestly, I thought Phantom Brave was one of the best games.

It has so much potential, doesn't it? My best friend wrote a series of drabbles that expands on the universe, exploring the characters (while keeping them absolutely ic), but unfortunately she doesn't get much response at all to her writing 'cause there's like... NO fanbase at all.

If only, if only, eh?

Are those drabbles online? Seriously, good Jing drabbles would be amazing to have. I honestly have a small fangirlish delight that Jing and Kino from Kino no Tabi would make an amazingly adorable pairing. It's weird, but Kino's another fandom that needs serious love. I love that woman!

I don't know much about Kino, but my friend and I are Jing/Cassis shippers all the way. Gotta love a girl who knows how to take charge, even if your friend is the King of Bandits. xD

Just the fact that you KNOW the series makes me so happy. ♥

I both loved and hated that the story never went anywhere. I liked the disconnectedness on one and, but on the other, not so much. Ya know?

In other words, you'd like it if there were a set of disconnected stories but an over all "connected" story inbetween, eh? That's what my dream was, that the overall story would pop up here or there and we'd still ahve disconnections. (Like, the jewel and his mother...)

EXACTLY. Some background information and just an overall story of some sort would've really made the series perfect. And probably more popular. Still love it for what it is, though~ But yeah. That would've been cool to learn about that jewel and Jing's mom. Hell, even Jing's past in general. All we get is a short in the OVAs and volume 4 of the manga. I wanted more. :(

MORE IS NOT AN OPTION, apparently. Which SUCKS seeing how SEXTACULANT Jing is by the end of the series. I mean, ME-OW! The Jing Anime also had some amazing music, I love the OST to bits and pieces. Damn this series.

I STILL HAVE HOPE! But yeah, probably not going to happen. Ah, well. I love what I got. And yes. Yes he is. By volume seven of Twilight Tales, he's so so so smexy. And he always looked hot in the anime~ The OST owns my soul. I LOVE the opening theme. Though I think I like the OST for the OVA a bit more than the OST for the original 13 episodes. ♥

Suddenly, feel like re-watching the OVA and making a secret on how Kino / Jing would be like the epically hottest couple ever. Hmm, choices.

... I am ashamed that I don't remember who Kino is. .__.

I'm a Jing/Cassis shipper, I got to admit. ♥

Y-You wouldn't know if you don't read Kino's Travels (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kino%27s_Journey), she's a lone traveler who visits towns to learn more about the world. Soft spoken and quick with a gun, she's just... SO COOL. ♥

I've heard of it, never seen it. And reading about it in that link... Dear lord, it's... like... exactly like KOBJ... o_o In that picture, her yellow coat even looks like Jing's coat WTF. Now I gotta see this series.

I love crossover pairings. In a roleplay I'm in, one of my characters is in one. 8D

The first novel is actually out in English, as well as one of the Kino movies and the anime. I love the novel, though. It's such a light and amusing read. You should try to find it one day. :D

And yes, they have the same fashion sense. That's why they're a total OTP. Try stealing her heart, Jing! ;O;
