I think people overestimate how hard it is to be a member of various minority groups. Being a few myself I think I could switch without half the whining about how impossible it is to be X, and just how privileged everyone else is and that's why they haven't made anything of their life.

Seriously. The way some people complaint about it, it's like "jesus christ, how do you manage to get through the day with all that self-victimization you have going on?"

And then I remember that they do it by bullying """white people"""(anyone who disagrees with them)

The system is set up to encourage that kind of thing, so people take the option they are herded into IMO. Like sheep.

Definitely. I'm overweight, queer, and female, and other than a few ignorant comments (which are mildly annoying more than anything else) now and then about "why don't you have a boyfriend/husband?!" I really don't feel like I'm "oppressed" or anything in my daily life. Not saying other people in my situation can't feel like they are, but a lot of times it just seems like they're overreacting.
