Things you can't get into after they're over

So growing up like a lot of kids these days I was really into Harry Potter. I re-read the books and watched the movies while waiting for the next book to come out, I discussed it with my friends and online etc etc. Then the last book came out, I read it in a few hours, then put it on the shelf and I never looked at it ever again. Two years ago I tried reading the first book and got bored as hell. I watched the last two movies and I was mostly bored.

So I was curious if there was ever a series of books/movies/a TV Show or any media really that you really enjoyed when it was being published or airing but now that it's over you just don't care about it?

So many things. Harry Potter is a good example. Loved the books, but once the series was finished I just didn't care about anything else. Not even the movies.

I tend to really love the fandoms and things that I'm into, then when my interest or the show is over I move on and am just done. I love 'em and leave 'em.

Harry Potter too. I still love it deeply, but when I tried to re-read it I didn't get past the beginning of book 2. It doesn't help that the fandom is a conglomeration of killjoys.
