Dude, I'm with you. Xros Wars was very meh to me, and Hunters freakin' sucked. What an absolute waste of inter-continuity crossover at the end there. :( I'm probably even worse of a fan than you are, though, because I couldn't get into Savers either. :\

So tell people you like music. There's no shame in liking music. It's actually pretty great. It doesn't make you weird. And hey, maybe if you tell people you like music, it'll give you a chance to argue against the terrible, terrible arguments that people make against other kinds of music. And even if it doesn't, at least you'll be being honest to yourself.

Not everyone gets recs, it's no big deal. Recs in high-traffic fandoms inherently tend to be a bit circlejerky, because if your work hasn't been recced before the reccing circles haven't seen it recced so they never find it and rec it. (If you're in a fandom small enough that it's really easy for the reccers to read every single work, disregard).

That's quite poignant, actually.

I don't really know what else to say. At least he knew you and didn't leave them to be sold to some used bookstore or something. And you have the opportunity to, I guess, use the books as they were meant to be used, and also to try and spread them around if you want to do that.

I liked it, anon! I haven't gone looking for a fandom or anything, but I liked it. I hated how they showed a Kansas football game and it was KU, when universally in Kansas you will find that KU is good for basketball, K-State for football. But if that was the biggest nitpick I had, I consider it good.
