It's full of plot holes, idiot balls, and Physics Doesn't Work That Way. The narrative makes little sense and has an unfortunate tendency to rely on assumptions that were explicitly supposed to not exist. The pacing is atrocious and feels like significant transitional scenes were dropped, and a lot of people really dislike how the backstory was handled. Trying to induce Reality Ensues for a Golden Age superhero results in some illogical and downright cringe-worthy scenes and situations. Actual Superman fans also seem to be annoyed/angry at the massive adaptational changes they made. And if you do go see it, don't see it in 3D - it's headache-inducing.

I will say, parts of it are good. Even enjoyable. But it doesn't really outweigh the bad here, IMO. My partner and I are very easy to please when it comes to entertainment, and neither of us liked this movie overall.
