This is so fucking sad. If you can't unabashedly love all the things you love and be honest about it to your friends, they're not truly your friends, are they? My closest friends are the ones who may not agree with my taste but they know my taste. I don't have to talk to them about every single aspect of my music taste but neither do I bash things I actually enjoy because I know they dislike it. That'd be bullshit. They respect what I like, even if they disagree it.
