I would be interested in knowing why you feel this way? I won't argue with Zod, he was too hammy for my tastes Faora came off much better.

I felt, personally, that Superman stayed true to the core of his character and his love affair with humanity and inability to not use the good inside him to better the world, without putting himself above it (no matter how much they threw 'God' at him). It felt like an Ultimates version of Superman and a new exploration of his mythology.
