I'm sorry that you aren't happy with the addition of this movie to the franchise. Hopefully you will find something redeeming in it, so that you can tolerate it. For myself, I'm kind of pleased to see Chucky come back in something that looks like it will have some sort of storyline beyond "maniacal laughter, the pitter-patter of little feet, and gore galore". Brad Dourif is one of my top 6 bad guys of all time so anything he does is worth a watch.

I'm glad to see A Martinez is in this film; he still looks good and I like him as an actor since he always gives a good solid performance (even if the material isn't all that good or solid).

And Brad's daughter is quite lovely. I haven't seen her before so I wonder if she has inherited her father's sense of stage presence.

Huh, really? From the trailer it looks just like that. He was given a new face&body by...who knows, then randomly sent to the suburbs, and then he starts randomly killing everyone in the house/terrorizing the woman in the wheelchair. The plot to Child's Play (Before Seed, lol...) was that he didn't want to be a doll. What is his purpose there, besides random gore? I doubt a middle-aged man would want to put his soul into a little girl, so is it the guy he's after?

He didn't mail himself there either, since he was dead. Someone had to have done it for him. I hope they address this, as the movie is supposed to take place right after three. Right now my bets are on this: Gore, gore, gore, turns out someone wanted Chucky to do something for them/Or they never explain why he's alive/was sent to that place in the mail, woman kills him, then end.
