27. I won't even lie, the only reason I started watching Bleach is because of some picture I saw of Renji and Byakuya. They looked so stylish---I couldn't resist!

34. I'm glad the dub is coming out. I want to hear the voices, and new fans means new domestic merchandise (because Death Note will be a hit...even my friends who "hate" anime are in love with it). I don't get this complex that veteran fans have. It's not a freaking contest, it's ANIME.

37. Ahahaha, that's awesome. DBZ basically owned the souls of every adolescent back in it's day. I happened to catch an episode on Toonami last night (the one right before Vegeta lets Imperfect Cell absorb Android 18) and I was laughing when I remembered how angry Vegeta made me during that saga when I first watched it in 7th grade. It's not a freaking contest, it's ANIME

Yeah, it really isn't, but people take it that way. It's kind of like those fans of the indie bands. They have to prove that they liked them before they had more than 50 fans because that makes them more hardcore than every other fan that came after they became popular. I had a friend who was like that with Jrock. I would talk about something with someone, and she would -need- to jump in and say "I liked them years before you did". It's pretty annoying.

But people aren't going to change, so it's just something we all just have to ignore.
