THE STRIP IS FUCKING AWESOME. IT'S GOT SUCH AMAZING STORYLINES AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. Mookie can write a villain that is ORIGINAL, one you can empathize with, and that's a lot more than 90% of the bullshit artists out there can say.

Uh, it looks like 19 is from the forums, there's this game they have where people put alternate text on the strips and screw around with them just for a laugh, a spinoff of the caption contests that died...I haven't lurked there for a while, but I think that's what's going on here. The OP is saying that a post there made them want fic for something they hadn't considered before.

Yeah, I know. But nowhere in the secret does it actually SAY it's a some sort of .. revival of the caption contest, and to call the strip terrible and use THAT as an example is unfairly misleading, to me. ): It really is a great strip.
