Man, it seems very few people like Scott. I think that is why they are trying to make him smarter this season.

Oh I'm fine with his average smarts + working hard, just sometimes he seems to do really dumb shit and...he's kinda blank? Like his personality is cookiecutter blank and boring without any strong identifiers...same with Alison, where I'm having issues following their decisions fluttering all over the place. Their characters are not consistant, at least. They don't change in ways I can follow

Yeah, no, this fandom mostly fucking hates Scott. Which sucks since he's legit my favorite character.

Yeah, it's a shame, because I love Scott, and usually I hate Everyman main characters. But there's just something so endearing about him.
