I always tell people that putting up with Harry gets easier once he has enough recurring characters to balance out the more insufferable aspects to him. The early books are the hardest, because Murphy is still on the outskirts and there's no Molly or Thomas or Sasha or Butters (fucking love Butters).

But the latest couple of entries to the series have started a downward slope for me and I think I'm losing my high tolerance.
