French web-series, apparently. I'm French and I'd never heard of it!

You can also give a try to Le Cœur a ses Raisons and Dans Une Galaxie Près de Chez Vous. They're parodies of soaps and sci-fi shows, respectively. French Canadian shows, but the thing is, French Canadians have a very distinct accent in real life which almost disappears when cameras roll. French Canadian is lovely but it can be hard to understand (especially for people who're not used to it)...

A+++ recommendations, Anon! :D Both series are equally awesome (Dans une Galaxie is one of my favorite shows ever), though Dans une Galaxie might be a little trickier for a non-French Canadian (lots of made up words, and they tend to use French Canadian expression a bit more often). The movies (there are two of them) had English subtitles available when the DVD came out a couple of years ago though, so that might be an option...

You can find the episodes of the serie with english subtitles on youtube.You just have to look for the visitor from the future instead of le visiteur du futur.

The first episodes are sketchs but the plot gets better.
