In the Flesh

(Anonymous) 2013-07-11 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Has anyone here seen it? It's a BBC series about zombies. I don't normally like zombie shows, but I thought this one was interesting because it takes place after a cure is found and the zombies are being reintegrated into society. The main character is a boy who originally died when he committed suicide (after his boyfriend died in war) who has to try to fit back in with his family even though his parents are in denial over everything that happened and his sister was on a special task force that eliminated zombies before the cure was created. I hear that it also might be getting a second series, so I'm interested in where they'll take the show.

Seen it, it was shit. Boring as hell. It is an hour of people standing around talking about how emotional they feel.

Saw it when it came out a few months ago and I really liked it! Even though the ending was :(

it was a depressing show, but I thought it was executed well and I enjoyed it, plus Luke Newberry is a cutie pie.

That sounds really interesting, but with the potential to be horrible.

It was actually good. A bit different than the normal zomibie killer movies/shows out there. More about the human aspects of zombies than the brain eating aspects of them. It was depressing, however.

I hope it gets a second series! I watched it with my friend and we both enjoyed it.

I'd love to learn more about the zombie infection and follow Ren as he continues to try and learn how to live as a human!zombie. There were also some plots left unresolved, so a second season would be really welcomed :)

I forgot, that's supposed to be airing on Space, isn't it? I'll have to catch up on the website I guess. I read the Wiki, but that didn't really grab my interest much.

It is definitely getting a second series. The first was ok but I was expecting better. I loved the premise, just didn't care about most of the characters. I won't go out of my way to watch the second series.
