I'm in a great group, seriously fantastic. Lately we've taken breaks from mercilessly killing everything to develop our Player Characters' personal lives, including romances. Now, I have a boyfriend who's not in this group and my Player Character is marrying another Player Character. I considered telling my boyfriend that my imaginary Druid was getting hitched to an imaginary warrior but decided that was silly unless he actually asked me about the game. Which he hasn't. Though I'll tell him if I get an imaginary kid, because that would be hilarious.

My problem is this: I have a crush on the guy who plays my character's husband. I didn't even imagine thinking of him this way until this whole stupid thing because he is a jerk. (A funny, sexy jerk.) And I'd rather cut off my hand than hurt my boyfriend, but the prospect/fantasy of a threesome with this friend is really hot. But it would be really embarrassing and it would probably make a dent in group dynamics and I want him to be friends with these friends and I want to stay friends with this friend and I'm sure this will go away soon. But it would be really, really hot.

At least I'm pretty sure I don't have to feel guilty imagining another man when my man is also involved.

Too long; didn't read: Character romance led to a real life crush which led to confusion for the player.
