You might be squicked because of the power dynamic, mainly. These two have a huge one. He's a blood relative and an adopted child of the two women she is depending on to keep her and her brother safe. He has a huge power over her. It's damn unsettling that the writers would even think this was okay to suggest. Not only that, he takes every opportunity to exploit this power even if he doesn't realize. It's a very frighteningly abusive relationship on the show.
