Not secret: I really hope Catherine Rollins won't take Kono's place on the team.
Not secret: I'm usually all in favor of more screen time for the ladies.
Secret: It's because I hated how much screen time Catherine had in season 3 and would rather kick her off the show and do without other ladies, as long as Kono is there. Even though I love Catherine's character in theory.
Bonus secret: I think Steve could do better, but so could she.

This is sadly par for the course. A lot of them (the Eric fans especially) seem to handwave it with "Well, he's a vampire, what do you expect?" as if vampires are inherently hedonistic assholes which kind of misses one of the main points of the show.

I don't mind underage pairings; I actually have quite a few of them, but eeeh, this ship always bothers me to some extent, not because of the underage part, but because the fans always play it that Sebastian 'is in tru wuvvv with Ciel!!!11!!'... Which is not, really. The guy's a cat playing with a mouse for awhile before eating it later. It's fucked up that you, like, want to bone your pepper steak.

The only time where I can see this relationship working is post-S2, and it's still in the section of 'fucked-up-ship-I-shouldn't-ship-but-I-do' because of the powerplay. But yeeh, found no fic post-S2 that deals with their relationship that involves no Mary Sue. Fic recs, please?

Recognizing the abuse for what it was is the first step, and an important one. Getting over, and healing from, an abusive relationship takes time, and often support. I hope that, now that you have some idea of what to look for, it will be easier for you to recognize and avoid abusive situations in the future.

I love Roy/Ed but I kinda grew to like Roy/Al, too. I think I found some fic back when I was in the FMA fandom but I don't think I have the links anymore. It's a nice pairing, I should dig those up.
