Well hell, even the Hannibal fans can acknowledge that what Hannibal does to Will is wrong. But Eric can effectively force himself on Sookie and the Eric stans will find a way to justify it.

Fictional characters aren't real people. I like Eric because he's hot and interesting. But I loved Ben Linus too and he wasn't hot. He was a very fascinating character played by an awesome actor. I liked Hannibal too when he was played by Hopkins, who isn't hot either. Some characters I've loved since I was a kid are Angela Channing from Falcon Crest, Magneto, Diana from the original V, Scar, the Malfoys, Batiatus and Lucretia, the sheriff of Nottingham played by Alan Rickman etc. I don't like them because they're hot; I like them because they make me have a good time when I'm watching them.
