Is there a reason to think Grace Park won't be back? I had heard that she's pregnant IRL and that's why the show sent her to Japan. I thought she would be returning. (Maybe she'll have Adam's Yakuza baby when she gets back.)

I've heard nothing about Catherine becoming a regular member of the team?

The only objection I have to Catherine is that her presence gets in the way of the Steve/Danny vibe. I'm not a hater like some "fans" are.

I've mainly heard plenty of rumours, but nothing substantiated, so you may very well be right! I think the Catherine angle is mostly a combination of people freaking out and some good old-fashioned "hate the gf on principle".

Yeah, I'm admittedly a slasher and prefer the focus not to be on her, but she doesn't bother me at all. It's just the way it is, and I get plenty of what I want from fic.

I don't think it's particularly people 'hating the gf' (although there are some legit reasons that people side-eye Cath), but rather the actress...
