I've yet to play KOTOR 2, though I have it in my steam library (I want to replay KOTOR THEN play KOTOR 2). I THINK there's a mod that fixes some of the flaws now.

There is! I haven't tried it yet but it also restores some of the game content so it sounds pretty awesome. If OP decides to try the games they should def download the mod for KOTOR 2 before playing it.
