I don't think exclusively catching, and something as out there as growing carrots in bizarre patterns are close to equivalent.

Ugh, sorry. I probably did poorly trying to drag the theory of probability into the matter.

What I meant was that one example doesn't make any difference to the general pattern. Whether a thing is "realistic" or "unrealistic" is a matter of general pattern, not of individual cases.
