Do something that you like and if you can, find someone to keep you company. Humans are actually pretty hardwired not to like exercise unless it's something fun, or something that easily integrated into our lives.

After I adopted a pit bull/lab mix, I started hiking with her every day to take care of her exercise needs. I quickly found that I loved it. The scenery was beautiful, and we met tons of different dogs and people. I get about thirty minutes to two hours of exercise every day because my dog needs it and because it's my favorite part of the day.

So, maybe hiking isn't your thing, try biking around your city and discovering things. Or join a low-key sports team. Or maybe you can be like Korra and learn marital arts! If there are no activities you find appealing, ask a friend to go running or to the gym with you. Having people around makes boring exercises more fun. At the end of the day, do something fun!

be like Korra and learn marital arts!

Nice slip there, Freud. (I think you meant "martial".)

Marital arts are important, too. Dividing chores, remembering favorites and special occasions, learning to love things your spouse loves, arguing without getting angry or hurtful, keeping sex exciting, knowing how to keep promises...

Dunno how good they are for weight loss, though.
