+1 to cutting out the highly sugary drinks. I dropped soda and that alone saw a drop in weight (though I've since flubbed that, my willpower is not so great).

My favorite replacement for soda is, well, making my own! Kind of. I learned to make my own syrups, so I can add as little as I want to club soda. Either that or I cut up a whole lemon and toss it into a pitcher of water. Unsweetened green teas with mint or jasmine tea, as well, or just plain water. Heck, everyone should be drinking lots of just plain water every day.
