oh fuck you. when my cousin was shot, my family received a lot of donations and gifts from sympathetic people in the community. we established a scholarship in his name and we hired an accountant to help us because we didn't know what to do with that much money in regards to taxes. so fuck off

How about no. How about the fact that all these donations went straight to them, over a million dollars worth, and that there is no scholarship fund in his name or any special charity either. How about the fact that they couldn't even be assed to show up in court. They TOURED for donations.

Milking the death of your son is vile, and that's what they did.

Were your family part of your cousin's life? Because Trayvon's parents weren't a part of his. Their primary concern was gaining exposure for themselves following his death.

No scholarship. They even tried to sue his legal guardian, his grandmother, for some donations that were sent to her.

Because while the media likes to make it seem otherwise, not all tradgedy befalls great people.
