It may help those who haven't seen it to know the movie mechas were called such things as "Gipsy Danger," (USA) "Eureka Striker," (Australia) "Cherno Alpha," (Russia) "Crimson Typhoon," (China) and "Coyote Tango" (Japan).

The formula is basically "vague national stereotype + combat verb OR phrase from NATO phonetic alphabet."

Wouldn't "Eureka Striker" be more apt for a mecha based out of Camp Pendleton, CA?
