Their relationship reminds me of me and my older sister's so much that I'd never dare watch this show with her. I'm afraid of the discomfort if she also sees it well enough to comment on it.

Oh, ouch. Yeah, don't watch it with her. With these kinds of things, when you strongly relate to part of it, even the parts that you don't relate to can sometimes start getting filtered through an unrealistically personal lens.

Yeah, I can see why you'd feel that way, even tho I like Michael and GOB as brothers. I think they have one of the more healthy relationships on AD... which I guess is a plus in your favour?
