I own it, so agreed. It isn't a movie to be taken seriously, haha, so I don't see why this needs to be a secret. It was fun. It was no Starsky and Hutch the tv series, but it wasn't meant to be either.

Now I need to watch it again.

[Picture is detectives David Starsky and Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson from the 2004 movie "Starksy & Hutch". Starksy has short curly brown hair, light skin, eyeglasses with red lenses, wearing a brown leather jacket over a light blue shirt, with his arms closed and a handgun in his right hand. Hutch is a man with medium-short blond hair, blue eyes, light skin and wearing a maroon leather jacket. He also has his arms closed. Starsky has a cartoon mustache pasted on. Between Starsky and Hutch and very very small, there are two men. One has slightly dark skin, longish dark hair and mustache and is wearing a large hat, a leather jacket and a low-necked shirt. He also has a medallion hanging from his neck. The other man has lightly-tanned pale skin, very short dark hair and a yellow shirt.]

I loved this movie.

Me too! And I'm a fan of the old-school series, too! They can co-exist, I don't understand the hate :/

No, they can't. Every time somebody buys a DVD of the movie, a box set of the TV series is destroyed, and vice versa.

Once critical mass has been reached, they'll move on to the original masters.

It is the rule of remakes and less-than-10000%-faithful-adaptations.
