Some are better than others, yeah, but your fandom is worse to you because its your fandom.

Especially if you aren't in any others. I thought mine was the worst until it basically died - now I think it was the best. It wasn't, of course, I just miss aspects of it I can't find anywhere else.

Ah, the joy of nostalgia. I know it well. I'm just glad that most of the time when I'm hit with it I can just go back to whatever fandom it is and remind myself how inaccurate my view of it has become.
