Damn, good point. While a lot of people who I've ranted about my fandom to agree that it sounds like one of the worst ones out there, I guess it is all different when you're in the thick of it and trying to enjoy yourself among the idiocy.

Yeah, but at least it can give you hope? In a way? Years down the line you'll be in another crazy fandom and look at this one fondly. (Like the anon above.) Or maybe you can always say to yourself, "There has to be worse out there." Probably.

At least you don't have to deal with most of it since you've selected who in the fandom you're following carefully. I wish you good luck and a less negative fandom experience.
