FTL - I recommended this to another anon, so if you're the same anon I'm sorry. But it's a really fun game where you're basically the captain of a spaceship and you have to strategize. Very fun.

The Binding of Isaac - I paid $5 for this game about a year and a half ago iirc. Since then it's become one of my most played games ever. SO fun.

Thomas was Alone - an anon mentioned this in the game thread, but this is really good; it actually makes you feel for these blocks while being a fun puzzle platformer.

Dust: An Elysian Tale - the art style is VERY divisive. But if you like it it's a very good looking game made pretty much by one person, and has some fun fighting.

Symphony & Audiosurf - do you want a music game that uses your own music? These are both really fun. Audiosurf is more well known and you basically go down a track based off of your music, but symphony is actually a shooter based off your music. Both are really good.

Dustforce - you clean up dust. It's a platformer of sorts, but it's a lot more fun than it sounds.

Hotline Miami -it's violent and you'll die a lot, but it's a fun game that involves thinking through the situations.

The biggest thing I do is follow the various indie bundles, humble indie bundle being the biggest. I buy nearly every one they sell because it's inexpensive and I get a bunch of great indie games to try. Some aren't as good as others, but it's fun to try a lot of games.

OP

I was actually the person who mentioned Thomas was Alone, lol. It is a pretty great game - though stage 4.9 is driving me a little mad right now. @_@

The sound great - though if you don't mind my asking - what is The Blinding of Issac about?

Lol; I really love that game. There are occasional stages where I get REALLY frustrated with it.

The Binding of Isaac is basically a top down action game similar to the original Zelda games in style (sort of) where Isaac escapes his mom, who was trying to kill him because she thinks she heard the voice of god. However, story's not really all THAT important; it's mostly an action game where you get random upgrades. Each time you play the game dungeon is randomly generated, so each experience is really different. It's a difficult game (I rarely beat it), but so worth it.
