Anything? Our day, our job, our pets, our house, the bills, any movies they're looking forward to, books, current events, chocolate, how was your walk, how's your friend, what are you looking forward to this year etc etc

They don't have to be a nerd to enjoy media either :/

and neither are you entirely a nerd. You eat food, you hear about news, you interact with people

jfc no one is completely mundane. You'll overlap somewhere, but your attitude would probably stop any dating dead.

You, obviously, have never met my former brother-in-law.

Although, to be fair, there's a difference between being mundane and being outright opposed and dismissive of fandom.

You do realize that dismissing fandom is the norm for most people, right? And that both people being into fandom isn't needed for a conversation [again, for most people], or even needed for a romantic relationship, right?
