What the hell did I miss.

This anon came one day really panicked because at their work their coworker made a small offhand and kinda offensive remark and she got so mad she threw her cup of freshly-made scorching-hot coffee in his face and he got nasty burns and maybe eye damage.
Did the op ever follow up on whether they got fired or the dude actually became blind?

iirc, coworker didn't even say anything--he was looking at the anon's breasts. or at least, the coffee-thrower assumed that he was looking at her breasts.

don't forget the troll (or possibly the coffeethrower same-anoning) posting about how leerers deserved to be blinded, and it was no big deal because it was ~only one eye.

If your interested, it turns out he did lose the use of his eye, so yeah, I might be facing jail time for this. I don't think this is totally fair but here we are.

i get being angry when people ogle or are verbally harassing you but you physically assaulted him in a manner that was not defensive. you facing jail time isn't particularly "not fair."

Yeah. A good ass kicking in edition for you probably would have evened it a bit more.

I really don't know what to say. I am so sorry for him that he lost his eye. I can't even imagine what he's going through and my heart goes out to him and his loved ones.

I hope you go to jail. I don't mean that in a mean way, I mean it in a "that is what I believe is justice" way. What you did was horrible. Because you have no remorse about your inexcusable actions, it's also unforgivable. I am floored that you think it isn't totally fair that you might be facing jail time for assaulting someone and causing partial blindness.

Aside from the very obvious impact to him from your assault, there are other ramifications that I doubt you're aware of since you're mired in self pity. Things like the financial consequences of emergency and continued medical care. I'm not knowledgeable about how the NHS works, but I personally believe you should have to pay for all of that. It's just what I view as right when a person assaults another and maims them.

Fair? You are a terrible person and should be locked up.

You half-blind somebody and you're still thinking of yourself as the injured party?

You blinded a man for maybe looking at your breasts. I hope you get jail time.

You're right, OP, it's not totally fair that you face consequences for your actions.

I'm still pretty convinced the whole thing was a joke/"social experiment" because some anon is always awful fast with the updates, but here we are.

No, that is COMPLETELY fair. He's lost the use of his eye. You've, what, lost your job, maybe ?paid fines? and might have to do some time. That's all temporary.

Next time take the attitude to your boss, or verbally tell them off. YOU DON'T THROW HOT COFFEE IN SOMEONE'S FACE, BLIND THEM and EXPECT TO GET OFF ON IT BECAUSE YOU'RE SCARED OF THE CONSEQUENCES.

Yeah, I'm sorry, if this is real (and even if it's just a hypothetical exercise), you really do need to be brought up on assault charges and to spend some time in prison. Not as punishment, but because you clearly don't comprehend the cruelty of your wholly unnecessary actions and I don't want someone like you on the street until you do.

*Hugs* I'm truly sorry anon. And I'm sorry everyone's being so shitty to you. The way this whole thing reads to me is that a guy was being a skeevy creeper, and you lashed out. That part is perfectly understandable. It's unfortunate you weren't able to react in a calmer way (because yes, I would say it was an overreaction) and it is unfortunate that the guy was hurt so badly (because he didn't totally deserve it, and you don't deserve to be in this much trouble for a momentary lapse in judgement) but I do understand how horrible dealing with creepy sleazy guys all the time is, and how sometimes it gets so bad you need to lash out, even if the thing you lash out about isn't the worst of the things you've had to deal with. These things build up. Tl;dr I'm sorry anon, you got unlucky, you don't deserve all the hate you're getting, for what it's worth you have my support and understanding.

search up sockpants, I think she was the one who posted the entries? sock was sick for some pants so her pantyhose didn't fit anymore and she was complaining to her coworker in the washroom. fuck hose she said and the crazy coworker thought sock said fuck ho-s so she started going off on sock about her language.

then the crazy coworker said she was going to report a transguy or gay guy or something to the manager for shopping at chickafils? it was during their antigay thing.

then the crazy coworker was fired because of suspicious computer use? I don't remember anything else.

I knew there was something involving panty hose.
