my parents would tape this for my brother and I when we were in grammar school so we could watch it when we got home from school [I actually cried when instead of getting the half hour of Ronins, I got a half hour of weather because my father forgot to change the channel - ah, the days of the VHS]

Sage was a favorite with Ryo and Cye coming up as second for the heroes and Anubis frequently exchanging favorite status with Kayura. I think we have most of the figures [I think Sekhmet is the one missing] and I do have the reissued Cye who is in totally the wrong colors [he's light blue! Not teal, damn it!]

It ran on my local TV station at 8am (right before the local TV version of Sailor Moon!) and one summer I just stayed up all night, every night, because it was easier than getting up at that early! I would have cried abut missing it too!
